I have always had a passion for art. As a child I was very creative. I loved to draw and paint. At the same time I was also always interested in beauty and fashion. When I reached adulthood I figured out a way to combine all of my interests into makeup artistry.

I started out self taught in 2012, through youtube videos and tutorials and as much hands on experience as I could get. I would sit up late at night in my room and practice different techniques and methods. I would study different face and eye shapes. I would study images from magazines and really analyze the makeup done by the professional so that I could one day do the same.

 

That same year is when I took my first step into the industry. I started out as a beauty consultant at Sephora in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I learned a lot there. I had a plethora of products at my fingertips, from different brands with different textures and formulas. I soaked up as much knowledge as I could. It was a great place to start out. Sephora sent me for numerous brand trainings and also certified me to apply a full face of makeup. But at the end of the day it was still cosmetic retail and I was really striving to do more.

I left my job at Sephora in 2013 and from there had a life change and uprooted to Canada. While I lived in Canada I attended makeup school for certification purposes. I knew I wanted to do bridal makeup. Once I completed makeup school, I started my own business in the bridal industry. I have been providing my skill set and services to brides ever since.

In 2020 I moved back to South Florida. I attended cosmetology school and obtained a cosmetology license. I feel its beneficial to have an understanding of the entire beauty industry. I'm constantly furthering my education in any way that I can. I am so passionate about this industry and I'm eternally grateful to get to do what I love.
